Workout Plan

I got up early this morning.  I promised I would meet a friend for a 7am workout boot camp.  I wore my hair in two-strand twist with the intention to wash and condition the twists after the workout.

Since I am a night owl, the task of getting up 6:00ish on a Saturday was truly a challenge but I made it out of the house on time.

The work out was tough!  I really didn’t know what I was getting into.  I learned the hard way the importance of pacing yourself.  In the beginning I was pushing too hard, and towards the end of the one-hour workout I couldn’t even keep up.

Truly a Thriller

When told about Michael Jackson’s death, I shouted SHUT UP!  I was so shocked.  How could that be true?

A New Prospective for the Minorities

This story was released in ‘05, but I wanted to share.  Two twins were born, one Black, one White due to a fertility clinic’s error.  Eleven years later, Ann Curry interviews the family about their experience.
