SOOO LOVIN THE NEW LOOK!
I have to say…not just because I am naturally obsessed, but this look really really favors Ms. Solange. She is radiating with fabulocity!

Ledisi is a R&B singer-songwriter from New Orleans. Her first name means “to bring forth” or “to come here” in Yoruba. In 2009, Ledisi released her fourth album Turn Me Loose, which earned her 2 Grammy nominations.
I was late on the Ledisi train. I saw her in concert a few months back and was in aww. The next day I purchased her CD Turn Me Loose. I realize that I like music in which the artist uses the art of song writing to find their true inner voice. ‘Higher Than This’ is a great example of Ledisi getting to a place of peace with herself. I love how the video features little Ledisi and her growth. We all experience self doubt, especially when changing our appearance. What can be higher than understanding you were made perfectly, and accepting it?
Ledisi really has stunning locs, and mastered the up do.

‘For Freedom Not For Beauty’
There’s a beauty that lives so deep inside each of us.

Did you watch Hell’s Kitchen season primer?
If you are like me, I watch reality shows and cheer for the out of the box people. This season of Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen I am rooting for Nilka and S. Why? Cause Nilka is rockin a ‘fro while S dreadlocks.
