The past few weeks I’ve been obsessed with the ‘fro hawk. Every time I check out our Links Directory, I am graced with the ‘fro hawk with the twist outs. I meet Ms. Evonne at the India Arie concert and she was rockin’ a cute long ‘fro hawk. Then Ms. Sarenzo Beads showed me her invention for the ‘fro hawk on youtube. If you search the ‘fro hawk in youtube you get over 200 videos.That was it, I took a few days off of work, so it was a great opportunity for me to do something different.
Ms. Chaunda King of Naturals Salon (804.349.3399) hooked me up!! She braided the sides into my much desired ‘fro hawk. I put two strand twist to wear out in a few days. You can see I started them in back.

I felt like a cute little punk rocker all weekend!
I went to work, and then a networking event and boy was my hair a big success! Here is a crazy bathroom pic. To soften the look for work, I loosened the braids in the back so it wasn’t as sharp of a Mohawk. The back was totally out, with side bangs in the front.
Having a new style has inspired me to start being more creative with my natural….try different things!! While I will keep you posted on the new do, I think I will wear this as long as it will allow! :0)
