Michael Jackson’s Genius

I wanted to write a blog about autophobia, the disease of self hate.  I initially had Michael Jackson in mind.

Lighter skin Thinner nose Curly to Straight Hair “Fathering” White Children

My judgments were unlike me and unfair.

Of course I do not want to speak unkindly of the deceased, but how do I know Michael disliked his ethnicity? When he looked in the mirror, maybe he saw the pain of his father?  He became white like paper, not like Caucasian skin. Maybe he was trying to assimilate.  Maybe he understood how little black boys are cute, while Black Men in America are seen very differently.  Maybe he understood how he, a Black man would be received as a threat.  He had a power over people that no one can come close to.  He never abused his power, but gave back to his community and changed the world.  How can I judge him?

I have the simple joy of going out in public, and not being noticed and analyzed for my every movement.  Unlike other folk in the media, I feel MJ was an honest man who found his blessing early in life.

It is crazy that Michael’s innocent love for children is scrutinized.  The Catholic Church institution has defended its Priest / child molesters for decades.  The negative portrayal and comments of a deceased man is unnecessary and shows a fear of his power.  Hate can only be achieved through fear. The more I am exposed to Michael, not what people say about him, but his interviews, I realize his genius. Image from pardonmeduke.com

He has constantly transformed himself.  He kept his image fresh.  No one could ever predict what was next.

One could speculate on WHY he made changes to his appearance, but the truth is that it probably helped him.  His “weirdness” simply captured his innovation.

The truth is that most celebrities make drastic changes to their experience.  They are just not in the public eye on the degree and length of Michael Jackson. Other Celebrity Changes: Lil Kim World’s Largest Breast Implants Donatella Versace Jocelyn Wildenstein “Cat Woman” Amanda Lepore And the list goes on and on…

Michael Jackson gave back to his community, and changed the world!!

He did the most courageous thing, he was constantly himself with no explanation to anyone else.  Michael Jackson stayed true to himself. I head a lady on the news saying, “MJ was a young man that gave his life to us.  He gave his life, to entertain us.”  That is a deep statement.  Besides the entertainment part, many people say the same for Jesus.
