Osama Bin Laden’s Hair Type ?
I am assuming it’s wavy or curly.
I don’t really care about Osama Bin Laden’s hair type…but it is a hair blog after all.
After 9/11 there was a new hatred in the American air.
New to me at least. The hatred was not for terrorism exclusively, but for the Middle East and Muslims.
I remember standing at a bus stop and a fellow American said something hateful about a Muslim American woman walking by with her hijab.
I remembered thinking to myself, less than a year ago, you may have said something offensive about me, but now your target has changed.
I was always disturbed by the Internet games… the ones aimed at killing Osama Bin Laden. Can you have enemy’s you seek to destroy, but not hate?
Don’t get me wrong; I am ecstatic that the terrorist leader of al-Qaeda has been stopped. Out of respect for life, I won’t celebrate his death. I will however pray that with his death, the hatred filling the air will die as well.
I have to wonder… now that American’s #1 Enemy is dead- how will this affect our American dynamics?
The dynamics of race, religion…gas prices?
I pray that we stand united…
