I planned a trip to the White House. It was a great trip! I had old college friends, and family from all around the East coast meet in one central location. I gotta plan another trip very soon! Well I asked everyone to meet me at a street corner between 11:00am-11:10. I blame CP time, but no one was there by 11:15. I proceed to the White House to get my tour on!! To make a long story short, all the people I invited ended up finding each other without me. When we all united, I asked…so how did you know that this was my friend? At different times they all said, oh I was looking for some natural person!
I thought it was hilarious because last time I saw my old college friend she was rocking the press and curl religiously. Mostly everyone who attended does not even know about my Kinnks project.
My one co-worker, who is relaxed is so supportive of this venture of mine! She always teases me that I only associate myself with naturals. I strongly believe, if you want a better look at yourself, look at your friends. They are a true reflection of you. Scary isn’t it? Well I guess it depends on who your friends are ;o)
Well, I gave my twist outs a break, and I got sooo many compliments on my ‘fro. I was so taken back when the big boss stopped me and complimented my hair. I guess the afro is more professional than the twist outs? Unfortunately, not as good for the ends. I had to provide you a pic…so here is the fro at 11pm at night. Yal should have seen it at 7am ;o)
