When told about Michael Jackson’s death, I shouted SHUT UP! I was so shocked. How could that be true?
While the news is shocking and devastating the signs were there. In recent years, Michael’s deformed face and frail appearance have been hard to swallow. However, the difficulties he has faced are microscopic compared to how he has impacted the world.
All can listen to a Michael Jackson song and have a flash back to an important time in their life. If not, they start dancing and crotch grabbing. MJ reminds me of a brand that become a household name like Clorox. He has become a part of our home, even our families.
While typing, I had to take several breaks to dance to Michael Jackson’s songs playing on the tube. I hope that after my death, I would have made a fraction of a difference MJ has made to the world.
Can’t fathom the impact? Pictured Above: Jean-Charles de Castelbajac has designed this Michael Jackson Afro dress for Paris Fashion Week March 2009.
Remember the Filipino Prison, Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center? The prison guards made 1,500 prisoners do the Thriller dance?
Talk about impact
Rest In Peace Michael Jackson
