There was so much hype about Tyra’s REAL hair, and truth be told….it was her relaxed hair. Don’t get me wrong her hair is beautiful and long…. but I would have truly been happier with a headful of kinnks!! I will congratulate Tyra on taking a step towards freedom. Freedom of her crutch, the weave :o)

I said the same thing when I saw her yesterday! I was like “It’s still relaxed!” I thought that women that wore weaves alot didn’t relax their hair. I guess I was wrong.

I’m with you, but we must remember baby steps…If she has been wearing weaves since she was seventeen, national t.v. with her real hair (relaxed or not) is a big move. Maybe next year we can get a kink or two…lol And just think how many people follow Tyra, and will be wearing their real hair, and like many of your guest bloggers, real hair leads to natural hair. I’m sure that she will have a show about keeping your real hair healthy, and they will talk natural…
